Mirtazapine (Remeron) for Depression and Loss of Appetite

Generic for Remeron

But her moods are stabilized, her appetite increased and she is gaining weight.   Here's some information on the Internet for Mirtazapine.

Mirtazapine belongs to a group of medicines called tetracyclic antidepressants. These medications help balance the chemical messengers, or neurotransmitters, in the brain that regulate mood.
